This week's thefridayfive:

1. Do you like the look of your country's currency (bills and coins)? Well, I think our money looks like it belongs in Monopoly. Seriously, when they found all that Canadian money on CSI: NY all I could see was how colourful it was. I guess that's sort of European, better than plain green American money.
2. Regardless of their actual value, do you like bills or coins better? Bills because I'm less likely to spend it and it's not as heavy.
3. What is your favorite foreign currency? And why? Euros because if I have them it means I'm in Europe and I love it there.
4. Do you collect coins or bills? Elaborate. Coins because they're easy to squirrel away for a rainy day.
5. Do you think human society could make do completely without money? Explain. I don't think we can. We're just not that evolved. It's basically communism and it's great in theory, but it doesn't work out.

I went to see Twilight again last night. Still just as awesome. Now I have to find someone who will go with me again. I just can't get enough of it. I was telling my mom about how I want the books for Christmas and she told me that she couldn't find them online. But that's okay. I mean, I have complete faith in Santa. The year that I really, really wanted one of those ( Cupcake Dolls )
Mom told me that Santa might not be able to bring it for me. But on Christmas morning there was one waiting for me. And the next year when all I wanted was an atlas, Santa brought that for me too. So I have complete faith in Santa. I told my mom all of this and she said that she thought Santa probably already had my books. To which I replied, of course he does, Santa has everything at his workshop. Silly Mommmy!

What made you happy this week? The elevator scene on NCIS, the relatively good job interview I had, the preview for next week's CSI: NY, Jim and Pam on The Office

What made you sad? that the moving company ruined my magazines, that I live in a crappy house, missing Edmonton and the people there, not having a job, that I didn't get the marketing job I wanted

What made you angry? my mom, my brother

What are you looking forward to in the next week? hopefully having a job, NCIS, CSI: NY

What are you not looking forward to? possibly not getting the job I want

This week's thefridayfive:

1. If you had to participate in one olympic event, what would it be and why? Figure Skating because I love watching it. As I can barely skate, it would make for an interesting event.

2. What is the one song you always sing along to? There are several, but the one I've been singing the longest is Downtown by Petula Clark.

3. Do you wear a seatbelt in the car? Almost always. The only time I don't is if there are too many people in the car, which very rarely happens.

4. Car, suv or truck and why? I don't actually have my driver's license yet, but I'd want to drive a small SUV. They may be bad for the environment, but they have more room. Also, if I know they're bad for the environment, I'll be less likely to use it excessively.

5. Are you a good/bad driver? explain As I don't have a driver's license, I don't know. I'd like to think I'll be a good driver.

This week's thefridayfive:

1. Love at First Sight: Fiction - Call me a realist, but I just don't think it's possible. I think that's lust.
2. Fortune Telling: Fiction - I think there are certain people who are more open to receiving messages or being prophetic (sort of like Eli Stone, but without the singing, dancing, and Victor Garber), but I don't think that tarot cards and palm reading is real.
3. Other Life: Fact - I'm assuming this is life on other planets. I don't think that God would create a Universe of infinite proportions and create life on only one planet. Maybe we can't detect the life that lives on other planets within our reach. But I definitely believe its out there.
4. Afterlife: Fact - I don't believe that we're just done. I definitely believe in heaven.
5. Bigfoot: Fact - I just like the idea that he's real.

Also, big squee after The Office last night. I've watched the Jim and Pam parts like five times and everytime I watch Jim's talking head, I go "Jiiiim!" Like I know him. I need a life.
