Okay, this may seem a little early, but as I make all of my Christmas cards, I figured I should do this now. So, if you want a Christmas card, let me know. I'll get mailing addresses later.
On another note, our house has been on the market for three weeks and not one person has been in to view it. They've now told my parents that it could be February before the market turns around. Which sucks because my dad's new company won't pay to put us up after January. My mom is super stressed and as such, is being a bit of a bag. My dad's doing his normal passive aggressive thing and it's annoying my mom, and I'm getting stuck in the middle. Oh joy, oh bliss.
The company that I'm temping for has asked me to stay on until the end of October. I'm going to tell them that I'll stay until the end of next week, and I'll make a decision about the half week after that, next week. I'm getting a little bored, and I'm not sure I want to stay until the end of the month. Especially considering that October 31 is the date of the baby shower that I had to create an invitation for, and the woman who asked me to create it was a complete bitch. Oops, did I say that out loud? Oh well.
Just finished reading book 42 for the
50bookchallenge, To Have And To Hold. Up next is Dark Rivers Of The Heart.
Off now to try to watch some more NCIS: Season 2 before the new episode tonight.

41. The King Of Torts - John Grisham - Legal - I found myself completely terrified by my level of investment in the character of Clay Carter. I had a hard time finishing this book because I was so afraid of what I assumed would be the horrific fate of the character. He was likeable. As the only lawyer for the Washington, D.C. Office of the Public Defender, Clay finds himself drawn into what I can only call a terrible web of greed and self-destruction. This web is woven around him by large pharmaceutical companies, and I now find myself wondering what horrible side effects I may experience from any medications I have ever taken. It wasn't one of Grisham's best books, but a good read anyway.
