Currently trying to watch Being Human but I just can't get into it. I'm usually all over UK shows and I really liked the original pilot of the show but I'm just not feeling it. I'll watch one more episode and if I'm not in love after that I'll just quit. It's not like I don't have enough to watch already.

Well I've done it. I've watched all ten seasons of SG-1 (and The Ark of Truth). In under a month. Not a bad accomplishment, although I doubt I'll tell anyone other than you guys as it is slightly sad that I had enough spare time to do it :-)
I am so in love withDaniel this show (enough to buy the first 4 seasons on DVD). The earlier season were certainly better but I didn't hate the last couple like I was expecting to from comments I had read.
My opinions on some of the later characters:
- Vala - I love her! I guess she's the sort of character that you either love or hate. I love the humour that she brings to the show and how she completely brings out the worst in Daniel. I love seeing that side of him. And I have been completely sold on Daniel/Vala. Their total wrongness for each other just seems right. :-)
- Cameron - He's no Jack but he is still lovable in his own right. Not too mention slightly hot. ;-)
- Jonas Quinn - I didn't hate him, which I had expected to hate Daniel's replacement, but I don't particularly like him either. He had the smarts but I found him to be a bit one-dimensional and he lacks the passion than Daniel has (which makes him so lovable).
I did dislike the whole Ori storyline. I much preferred the Goa'uld as the enemy. On a side note though it did get me interested in the King Arthur myth, and I've borrowed a few books to research further into the Arthur/Merlin story.
My favourite episode has to be Legacy (if judging by the number of times I've rewatched it already). I know that the medical stuff is all wrong and that there are some gaping plot holes and Jack should have been more comforting but I don't really care. The sight of Daniel in a padded cell for some reason appeals to that sick side of me that loves to see my favourite character hurting. :-) To me it's like the equivalent of SWAK.
Anyway, now hopefully that I've finished watching I can get on with my life and the addiction will lessen a little. I'm sorry for ignoring you all for the last couple of weeks. Daniel made me do it. ;-)
I do plan to eventally watch SGA and SGU but I think I am going to wait for a few weeks before I dive into another show. Besides all the Daniel!fic will keep me occupied for a while. :-)
